In this era of achieving the best, every parent and every student aspires himself/herself getting the best education in the best of colleges and schools, working in the best of companies and settling in the best country ( usually abroad, amongst the youngsters today). Therefore, in order to get the best, you need to pull your socks up and get working from school itself. Gone are those days where students used to be satisfied just by getting an SSC or ICSE certificate. These days, students are taking up the IGCSE board of education which has taken the education level, a step higher. IGCSE Business Studies can be very good to choose and work with but it can be hard for students to score well in it.

Let us brief ourselves a bit about IGCSE before going into the deeper details of the course. IGCSE stands for International General Certificate of Secondary Education. IGCSE courses are provided by the Cambridge Universities for 14 to 19 year olds. It focuses on broadening the overall knowledge of the student, from developing creativity skills to problem solving strategies. IGCSE is recognized equivalent to the United Kingdom GCSE. About 70 different types of subjects are offered by this board and one among them is business studies.

 

To score well in an IGCSE business exam, first and the foremost tip would be, to have a strong         foundation about business studies. Know your basics right. Read a good lot of articles and newspapers to keep yourself updated about the happenings in the business world.     

There is no alternative to hardwork and dedication to score well in IGCSE business studies examination. Read your text books thoroughly  and pay attention to the important topics that you feel, might appear in the examination. Love what you do. Love your subjects, study and understand them with all passion towards it. Make it worth all your efforts.

Write neat and legible in your examination. The externals do not have all day to understand what you have written. Make sure you highlight the key points as well, to save the external’s time and patience.
